MotoGP in Australia

22.10.2017
The MotoGP race in Phillip Island was a difficult one for the Ducati-team with a 13. place for Andrea Dovizioso and a 15. place for Jorge Lorenzo. Because he braked too late in the first turn of the 16. round Dovizioso fell back from place 11 to place 20. Dovizioso made it back to the 11. place but was overtaken by Redding and Pedrosa in the last lap, finishing the race at the 13. place.

Jorge Lorenzo, still in pain from his bad crash yesterday, remained in thirteenth place for much of the race, but in the last few laps he dropped to fifteenth and crossed the line in that position.

Following the Australian GP, Andrea Dovizioso still lies second in the championship standings, but he is now 33 points behind Marquez and 17 points ahead of Viñales.
