“Fisica in Moto” (Physics applied to Motorcycles), the Ducati Factory-based laboratory designed to take students on an exciting, fun and educational path through the physics of motorcycles, will open its doors to all tourists every weekend during the school term from 28 April onwards and from Monday to Friday during the school summer holidays.
Since its opening in 2008, more than 8,000 students from educational institutions all over Italy have visited the dream classroom lab and learnt how the laws of physics apply in motorcycle terms, from engine operation to vehicle dynamics. From 28 April onwards, the lab will be open to all visitors of the Bologna-based factory.
Opening times during the school year (October – June) are divided into four scheduled tours on Saturday and Sunday: 9:30, 11:30, 14:00 and 16:00, while during the holiday period (June – September) the Monday to Friday schedules are 10:30, 12:15 and 15:00 (Wednesdays closed). The tours will be held in Italian and English and can be booked by completing a registration form, and sending the completed form to fisicainmoto@ducati.com.
Purchase of the Fisica in Moto ticket includes entrance to the famous Ducati Museum on a walk-in (unguided tour) basis, while an additional Factory tour must be requested separately on the dedicated website.
