Ducati Panigale V4 is the most beautiful bike of the EICMA

The Ducati Panigale V4 was chosen for the most beautiful bike of the fair. 61.17% of the submitted votes had the opinion, that the Panigale V4 is the most beautiful bike of the EICMA. The voting was carried out by the Italian magazine "Motociclismo" for the 13th time. Until now, Ducati had won the voting nine times and the last five votings behind each other.

More than 16.000 visitors voted at the voting and the biggest part saw the Panigale V4 as their favorite bike. The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR won the second place followed by the Honda CB1000R on the third place.

The counting found place on the last day of the EICMA, on 12th November 2017, at the stand of "Motociclismo" as the last act of the fair which attracted over 600.000 visitors. The award was received by Julien Clement, the designer of the V4-project.

The Panigale V4 is the first Ducati-bike with a V4-engine in serial production. The engine is closely related to the Desmosedici used in the MotoGP. A power to weight ratio of 0.8 kW/kg (1.1 hp/kg) is a new reference in the segment of super sport-bikes. The bike was developed in close collaboration with Ducati Corse and so it’s closely related to the MotoGP-bike. Beside the Panigale V4 the family consist also of the Panigale V4 S with Öhlins suspension with Smart-EC 2.0-system and high-quality components like forged aluminum rims and li-ion battery pack. The family is completed by the Panigale V4 Speciale which will be produced in a limited edition of 1500 bikes. The V4 Speciale comes with special painting and generates with the exhaust-system made of titan by Akrapovic 166 kW (226 hp).
